1977/01/06 - London Nach einem Fernsehauftritt der Sex Pistols zieht die Plattenfirma EMI deren, im November 1976 erschienene, erste Single Anarchy in the U.K. zurück und kündigt den Vertrag mit McLarens Retortencombo.
Die Pistols rächen sich, für den Rauswurf, mit einer Komposition, dem 12. und letzten Track des am 28. Oktober 1977, bei Virgin Records dem verachteten Hippielabel, bei dem sie, nach einem Zwischenspiel bei A&M, gelandet waren, veröffentlichten Albums Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols.
